If there was a permanent cure for hair loss, I’d be the first to get it. Well, hopefully anyway. There is no need to fret though; nature has solutions for us for those bad hair days!
Waking up and realizing you’ve been losing more hair than usual is tough. Other times, it’s something you have been noticing over the years. On the other hand, some individuals undergo stressful events (like accidents and chemotherapy), which may lead to substantial hair loss. Women aren’t the only ones who are stressed over losing hair, even men suffer too, trust me.
But did you know that stress about hair loss can lead to even more hair loss? That’s right. Apart from genes and environmental factors, stress and emotional strain can and do affect your hair growth. So, before you worry and stress further about the state of your mane, breathe. Calm your mind and focus on the fact that there is a solution for you out there. You only have to find it!
Having the occasional hit on your self-esteem is normal. You feel like you have to constantly cover your head. Sometimes you don’t even want to go outdoors and enjoy the summer. I say keep calm, and try out what I’ll suggest. It worked for me after all. I could claim that one oil is enough for your hair needs, but I’d rather point out the few that worked for me.
Natural Oils For Your Hair Growth
Coconut Oil
Tell me anywhere you haven’t read or heard about coconut oil, and I’ll call your bluff. Coconut oil is everywhere! Geographically and functionally. From protecting your heart and managing your weight to improving your hair and skin, make coconut oil your best friend. Even ancient Ayuvredic science did.
The fatty acids in coconut oil penetrate your hair follicles for nourishment in a way unlike any other oil. For best results, I use my Carrington Farms coconut oil before cleaning to avoid losing my hair protein. I warm three tablespoons of coconut oil and pour the liquid all over my scalp. After covering my hair up, I give it an hour before cleaning my hair with shampoo and rinsing completely.
Peppermint Essential Oil
You can also use Rosemary essential oil for this purpose. These two oils are amazing vasodilators that may help improve blood flow around your hair follicles. By stimulating your scalp, you can pave way for nourishment and hair growth!
Always dilute your essential oils before using them. Whether peppermint or rosemary essential oil, I use a third cup of coconut or jojoba oil for 5 drops of the essential oil. Section your hair up so you can reach your entire scalp. After massaging for five minutes give it an hour before shampooing and rinsing thoroughly. I use Majestic Pure peppermint essential oil for my therapeutic purposes.
Black Seed Oil
Black seed oil is another unique treatment originating from the Middle East for nearly all ailments. For hair growth, the astounding amounts of minerals, fatty acids, and vitamins will do your hair some serious good. All you have to do is consume it so it can work from the inside out.
You only need half a tablespoon of the Amazing Herbs black seed oil in your favorite glass of juice. Make that glass tall since this oil can irritate or burn your throat slightly.
Conclusion
There so many natural oils out here to support your hair growth journey – these three are my favorite. You can do some further research and ensure you are not allergic to whichever oil you choose. Good luck!
