Some days you run into products you really want to try out. The L’Oreal Revitalift was it for me – or at least, one of the few products I’ve come across that I couldn’t leave behind. If I could find a product that could multitask on all my eye-skin problems, I’d be the happiest woman alive. The L’Oreal brand has plenty of other attractive skincare products, but my rule is shopping for what I need the most.

Seeing that the Revitalift eye cream was dermatologist and ophthalmologist-approved, I felt assured I had a safe product in my hands; it was time to test it out. The 14ml tub is quite small, about 4 cm in height, but I’d learned not to judge by the size first. It was affordable after all. I had the instructions on the back of the tub.

Every morning, after cleansing my face and patting dry, I would dab a small amount of the Revitalift cream around my eyes and massage until it was fully absorbed. I would repeat the same application in the evening, right before bed. For even better results, make sure you apply it under your makeup and moisturizers.

A month was over before I noticed any results. The wrinkles and lines around my eyes were not as visible as they were before. By the time I had used up all the cream, I still saw no changes with the dark circles around my eyes.

By reducing hyperpigmentation and boosting collagen production, you can have the area around your eyes brightened and much firmer. Silk powder hides any imperfections while protecting the thin skin from the side effects of harsh makeup and environmental exposure.

Hadasei-3 is a group of Japanese superfoods that have anti-aging properties. Couple that with the hyaluronic acid in the Tatcha Pearl Illuminated cream and a fuller and nourished look could be within your reach. Following the instructions, I dabbed a rice-grain size amount under either eye and applied it gently like a moisturizer. There wasn’t much to it, and it indeed concealed my imperfections during my work and out occasions.

Sometimes I’d take a while getting the product to settle for good coverage, but when it does stay, it looks natural. There are different colors you can pick depending on your skin tone and preferences. However, apart from being a great concealer, I did not get the results that I was expecting. After a month, I still had my dark under eye and lines to deal with every time I cleansed my face.
