Hair loss may occur due to various reasons that natural remedies can fix. More often than not, dry scalps that are itchy and flaking, cause hair loss amongst other reasons. If not infected, the scalp can readily be nursed back to health by using natural ingredients as a home remedy.
It would be normal to visit the doctor for a proper diagnosis. Yet, there are times you only need simple natural ingredients to make a remedy of your own. Over the years, I established a skincare routine with common cooking ingredients that worked wonders. I figured why not try the same for my hair, besides natural products usually show no side effects. I am glad to say my scalp is moisturized, my hair longer and thicker. It proves to be such a joy when styling.
Home remedies provide rich and organic nutrients that enable them act as natural hair products. By providing moisture, vitamins and minerals, home remedies for hair loss rejuvenate and promote hair growth. Some of these natural home remedies include Aloe Vera, onion juice, garlic essential oils, Indian gooseberry, fenugreek, coconut milk and green tea.
Aloe Vera
Before using Aloe Vera, you should ensure your hair is washed. The Aloe Vera pulp is the main ingredient, after extracting it from the leaf, rub and massage it into your hair and scalp. This ensures it penetrates deep into the scalp promoting growth of hair. Rinse it out after about 15 minutes. Aloe Vera balances the pH of your scalp ensuring appropriate hair growth conditions.
Coconut Milk
If your local grocery stocks coconut milk then it’s pretty straightforward for you. Yet, even those with coconuts can still easily get coconut milk. Grate your coconut, proceed to grind it then squeeze out its milk. Using a hair dye brush, apply the milk to your scalp and hair, wrap with a towel and wash with shampoo afterwards. With its vitamin E and fats, it serves to moisturize the scalp and I particularly love how coconut smells.
Onion Juice and Garlic
Blend, grate or grind either your onions or garlic. Thereafter, extract the juice from it and apply it gently. Leave it on for half an hour. Wash with shampoo and thoroughly rinse it off your hair to get rid of the offensive smell.
Fenugreek Seeds , Yogurt and Eggs
These natural ingredients make such a heavenly hair mask. Soak the seeds in water overnight and then make a paste the morning after by adding a little water. Add an egg white and stir into smooth consistency and apply it. You can equally opt for a simple fenugreek paste made by mixing the rround seeds with water. Either of these two should be left on for at least 30 minutes covered with a cap. Rinse it off your afterward
Remarks
Working either of these remedies into your daily routine will definitely help you. Mix up your paste or blend up that juice, apply it on your hair and massage into your scalp just as your tune into your favorite show. Working these practices into your daily routine for at least three times a week will surely make a change. It is simply prepping for healthier scalp and longer, thicker hair.
