Laser Cap vs Capillus Review – Best Ball Laser Device for Hair Growth

Hair growth laser products are flooding the market, and it’s easy to see why. Laser therapy has been helping men and women all around the globe prevent and stop hair loss, thinning, balding, and alopecia. This Laser Cap vs Capillus review highlights the features, pros, and cons I noticed while using the two caps.

I started having more hair shedding and thinning than usual two years ago. Considering I avoid harsh hairstyles and treatments, seeing a random bald spot was terrifying. Unfortunately, I couldn’t tell if there was alopecia in our family since I was adopted, so I talked to my doctor about laser hair growth options available – thus the Laser Cap vs Capillus review!

From what I learned, hair loss isn’t just brought on by a poor diet, your lifestyle habits, and basic hair handling regimens. Sometimes, even when you’re doing everything right by your hair, your genes could be the reason alopecia, thinning, and receding hairlines are in the books for you. However, it possible to beat permanent hair loss if you can tackle it early; which is why I went the laser way before it went too far.

Laser Cap

Considering there are many laser caps out here, it may be slightly confusing finding a laser cap without the brand name in the product name. I found Laser Cap by YANUO while checking out laser therapy devices they have for shoulder, back, knee, and joint pain relief.

Features

For 272-laser diode cap with more coverage, it was much cheaper than a similar diode Capillus cap. The sports cap holds the laser device inside, concealing it pretty well. You can wear it in the comfort of your home, or outdoors when out for a walk or a jog.

Usage

From the instructions, I only wore the cap for 30 minutes every other day – skip a day whenever you wear it. The cap went off automatically after the elapsed time.

Pros

  • Hands-free
  • Not restricted to indoor use
  • More laser diodes at an affordable cost
  • Light and flexible

Cons

  • I noticed minimal changes to my hair
  • I had to recharge too often

Capillus Cap

Capillus’ name precedes it. The Capillus Caps are quite famous for their reviews among experts, and also because they rank up at high-end laser devices. There are different number-diode caps you can choose depending on the cost and amount of hair loss you are experiencing. Capillus also has keratin hair fibers, serums, shampoo, and conditioner you can use together with the cap.

Features

Since my hair problems weren’t extensive (and also because of the expense), I went for the Capillus 82 which has 82 laser diodes. The ball cap design hides the laser diodes underneath, and it is quite handy if you are on the move or spend a significant amount of time away from home.

Usage

I wore the Capillus 82 for six minutes daily.

Pros

  • Impressive website and expert advice
  • Light and portable
  • FDA-approved
  • Great for outdoor use
  • You can use together with other Capillus hair growth treatments
  • More hair growth in five months

Cons

  • Expensive
  • Does not ship to some regions

Recommendation

Though costly, I’d advice on Capillus for their quality and faster results than Laser Cap.
