Laser Cap vs Igrow Review – Cheaper Laser Caps To Consider

With advanced technology each day, year or decade, it is no surprise that science has made considerable steps in helping people struggling with alopecia and other multiple hair issues. From creating hair fibers for amazing and quick cover on the go to laser treatment for long-term aid, there’s no knowing what else the future holds. This Laser Cap vs Igrow review highlights two of the more affordable laser hair growth options.

Not being vain, I’ve always had great hair as far as I can remember. Unfortunately, and admittedly, I may have often taken that for granted. I styled, color-treated, and manipulated it more than was necessary. The result was weak and thinner hair when I hit my late thirties, and I instantly regretted not taking better care of it – which is how I tried out laser caps and wrote this Laser Cap vs Igrow review.

Laser caps, alongside laser combs and brushes, use Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT) to stimulate hair growth. They do so by reactivating weakened follicles, and stimulating better blood circulation and nutrient absorption around your hair roots; leading to healthier hair growth.

Laser Cap (YANUO)

While saving up for a laser cap, I got my Yanuo Laser Cap as a gift from a friend who had an extra in handy. I had never had of Yanuo before, but the device seemed to function well, and I decided to give it a go.

Design

What I liked most about the Laser Cap was the sports cap look that made it easy to wear it while outdoors. The device has 272 laser diodes beneath that over lots of coverage on the entire head.

How it Works

Wear the cap for 30 minutes every other day. If you wear it today, skip the next day, and so on. You also get a rechargeable battery, charger, and USB cable to charge the device.

Pros

  • Cheaper product for more diodes
  • Light and portable
  • Easy to wear

Cons

  • Couldn’t find YANUO on the FDA website
  • The cap occasionally went off
  • I didn’t notice any significant changes

Igrow Laser Cap

After saving up for the laser cap of my choice, I decided to buy Igrow since it was much more cost-friendly than most of the expensive brands in the market. There was enough information on their website on the laser cap, how it worked, what to expect, and friendly customer service for any queries.

Design

The Igrow design was unlike many laser caps I had seen before. Though many users recommended it for indoor use due to its look, I liked that it almost resembled my cycling helmet. Four columns inside help you adjust it as you see fit, while the headphones with an auxiliary cord make the entire experience fun and impossible to get bored while waiting for the session to end.

How it Works

There were mixed reviews on the right amount of time to wear the helmet (the instructions said twice a week). After talking to a customer care rep, I wore the cap for 30 minutes every other day.

Pros

  • FDA-approved
  • Availability of information on the website
  • Easy to use
  • Strong and durable
  • Safer and more effective

Cons

  • Old user manual
  • Less coverage for people with extensive hair loss

Recommendation

Safety comes first, so I’d advise you to pick Igrow. Besides, it showed results where Laser Cap did not.
