Lip ink gives you a smear-poof advantage and is bound to last you the whole day if properly applied. Lip ink vs Lipsense review gives a precise comparison of the two products. Alcohol-based lipsense is good for starters as it removes a build-up of dead skin through exfoliation.
For the last twenty years, I have used and reviewed several lip products in the market. I’m always in search of that new lip product that will give me an exceptional experience.
As a woman, beauty is my first priority, and wouldn’t want to walk out looking cakey and flakey. I’m sure you relate to this. Let’s get down to the ins and outs of these lip products.
Lip ink vs Lipsense: A Comparison Review
Lip ink Review
Lip ink works best if you apply it the right way as recommended.
End product
First, when purchasing this product, make sure to confirm it has got these 3 items: Lip ink, lip shine, and lip remover. They go a long way in giving you the perfect finish you desire. With this product, you got the rare advantage of using a color range that is flexible. Mix to get your perfect blend.
Unlike other lip products that require a top gloss layer, this one comes with gloss but still feels fine without using it. In a nutshell, it’s lightweight, I used a layer of blush color followed by two layers of lip shine and the results were amazing.
Lasting power
I wore and used this product for up to 15 hours without it losing its vigor and color. Once you apply it in the morning you are good to go for the day without having to reapply it again.
Non-transferable
This product is not transferable. It’s smear-proof and does not remain glued to your water container or mug. You could choose to go swimming all day without having to worry it will wear off. However, a little touching it up is not out of question to maintain its vigor.
Pros
- Long-lasting
- Anti-transfer
- Several color shades to choose from
- Lightweight
Cons
- Not true to shade
- Tingles
- Expensive
Lipsense review
Comes with cosmetic graded alcohol that leaves a tingling effect on your lips.
Stay power
Lipsense is a long-lasting lip product that lasts on your lips for more than 10 hours. What makes it stay longer is the top coat lip gloss that comes with it. You will need to reapply it severally during the day to make it stay longer.
Non-transferable
The product is non-transferable and does not remain smeared or stuck in the elements or items your lips come into contact with.
End product
Lipsense comes with a range of colors that range up to 70. Red is my favorite. To get a perfect finish, apply up to three thin layers before applying lip gloss.
Pros
- Long wear
- Exfoliates dead skin
- Rich color shades
- Anti-transfer
Cons
- Tingles
- Needs re-glossing throughout the day
My verdict on Lip ink vs Lipsense
I prefer Lip ink to Lipsense. Lip ink works out for me as I love to swim and I don’t have to worry about touching it up often. Though expensive, it feels light on my lips.
