I’m an old mother of two grown up sons and one daughter. My daughter and I love to try out the different lip products in the beauty shops and online stores. While our tests and preferences are different, we have always settled for good products that don’t disappoint. Read what I found out in these two products.
Lipsense review
Lipsense takes care of your skin with amazing ingredients and color shades that last.
Non-transferable
Try this out if you are looking for a lip product that won’t remain on anything your lips could come into contact with. If you love to snack often, it has got you covered. Be wary of heavy oily meals. You may want to avoid them as they have the potential of erasing your lipstick.
End product
Use up to three layers of Lipsense to achieve its glowing finish. Ensure each layer applied is dry before you apply the next layer. This is all you need to achieve that envious look on your lips. Don’t rub the make-up brush to and fro on the same layer during application as this will leave your lipstick patchy. Use a lip gloss to set in the color of the lipstick on your lips.
Long lasting
Lipsense lasts for 16 hours on your lips. To the average user, you only need up to 10 hours of its wear. During this 10 hour period, ensure to apply lip gloss once after 5 hours to maintain the intensity of its color.
Pros
- Long wear
- Several color shades
- Non-transferable
Cons
- Burns
- Long application process
- Feels heavy on the skin

Wet and Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit Review
This product is intensely pigmented and leaves your lips covered with a single swipe.
Stay power
Wild Megalast lasts all day on your lips. One coat is enough to make it long lasting without wanting to peel off. It has a comfortable wear throughout the day. While some parts of it may wear off, it’s not easily noticeable.
Non-transferable
Wild Megalast does not smudge easily. It is not threatened by eating or drinking. This is not to say it will remain intact 100%. You may notice some color loss in the inner linings of your lips. That should be normal and you only need to reapply it if necessary.
End product
It gives you a matte finish that is velvety in appearance. It’s dark and vampy colors wrap you up with a brilliant look. It comes with a curved applicator that makes application easier giving you a clean line with a light feeling.
Pros
- Long wear
- Many colors
- Smudge-proof
- Nice matte finish
Cons
- Dry feel
- Feels tight and cracks when applied to much

Verdict
Wild Megalast won my heart. I loved its curved applicator that achieves a fine line on my lips. Its color shades also suit well with my skin tone. Lipsense has a long application process that is multi-layered and just doesn’t appeal to me.
