For this recipe the ingredients necessary are evening primrose, Vitamin E oil and coconut oil. Vitamin E is a useful ingredient because of its firming properties and ability to fight wrinkles. On the other hand evening primrose works to combat dark circles, skin irritation and inflammation. Coconut oil softens the skin and its combination with Vitamin E hydrates the skin. This combination also helps derail the effects of aging.
Instructions
- Measure then heat up half a cup of the coconut oil. This could be achieved using a few seconds in the microwave (approximately 10 to 15) but it’s preferable to use steam due to its flammability.
- Mix it with give or take 5 capsules of the Vitamin E oil.
- Stir until it’s well mixed before adding 1 tablespoon of the primrose oil.
- Mix the three well and refrigerate the mixture.
Once it solidifies the process is complete and it is ready for use.
Frankincense and Shea butter DIY Eye cream
The ingredients necessary for this recipe are frankincense oil, shea butter, Vitamin E, aloe vera gel and coconut oil.
Instructions
- Place 1oz of shea butter and 1oz of coconut oil in a bowl and heat mildly until liquefied.
- Add to the mixture a teaspoon of the Vitamin E, 1oz of the aloe vera and 8 drops of the frankincense oil.
- Stir the ingredients until well blended.
Once this is done, the process is complete and the mix should be placed in a jar for storage
