For the past couple of years, Shedavi has been creating waves with their innovative and healthy way of combating hair loss. In a world where beauty products are full of chemicals and toxins, this hair care organization provides affordable products with natural ingredients. In this review, we’ll discuss the hair pills vs. oils to determine which is the best for you and why.
As an avid Shedavi user myself, I will admit that battling hair loss is tough. Like many women facing the same issue, I have tried out quite an array of hair products! Obviously, many of these are great at promising you heaven and delivering very little to nothing at all. I’ve spent a great deal of money on creams, shampoos, conditioners, electric brushes; you name it. Some of these were from major brands.
Apart from a few companies whose products produced some positive results, I found that Shedavi did as they promised – working from the outside as well as the inside. Shedavi hair growth elixir and pills ensure your hair has the nutrients it needs to achieve length and volume.
That said, let’s have a look at some of the products I tried out.
Though most of the products in the hair industry may not be the best for you, I found a few notable hair care brands worth mentioning:
- BOOSTS HAIR GROWTH - Our hair vitamin is packed with 26 premium vitamins and minerals that all...
- PERFECT FOR MEN AND WOMEN - Hair products for hair growth shouldn't be limited to women. We at...
- HELPS STRENGTHEN HAIR - The biotin in our hair growth pills makes our product more than just...
- HASSLE-FREE HAIR-GROWING EXPERIENCE - Salon hair treatment may still use chemicals that are...

Hairburst has their major stores mainly in the US, Europe, Canada, South America and Australia. The reviews looked amazing, though I could only find one user who had kinky hair like me. I had a little trouble accessing the ‘Rest of the World’ store, so I had a friend of mine in Europe purchase three-month original vitamins for me on her way here.
They feature regular (capsules), and interesting strawberry and blackcurrant flavored chewable supplements depending on your preference. Other products include the lash and brow enhancing serum, shampoos, conditioners, and supplements for pregnant women, among others. I was not ready to test them all out, so I picked the vitamins first.
While my hair and scalp didn’t feel heavy or greased up after the first month using the hair vitamins, there were no notable changes until the beginning of the third month. My hair was a little shiny than usual but other than that I deduced that the products work better for Caucasian hair than the kinky afro.
- A wide variety of products to choose from
- Over 95% natural ingredients
- Subscription offer
- Free shipping on purchases over $50
- Allergy warnings for some ingredients
- Fewer discounts in the ‘Rest of the World’ store
One thing I instantly noticed on the Viviscal website – they have hair growth products designed specifically for men. Superb news considering the assumption that it’s mostly women who worry about hair loss and hair thinning.
Though I initially wanted the tablets alone, other products included Densifying Shampoo, Densifying Conditioner, and the Densifying Elixir which is a leave-in treatment. Since I wasn’t VIP, there were no discounts but I wanted to try out a brand that offered cleansing and nourishing at the same time.
Unfortunately, there wasn’t much of a hair change on my part. I found the shampoo and conditioner refreshing, but that was it. There was neither improvement nor damage.

A giant in the hair care industry, Hairfinity have countless hair products under their belt. I particularly enjoyed the website that was easy to navigate while showcasing the many products. The major categories were hair and skin vitamins, vitamin boosters, a variety of hair products to repair hair damage and even products to nourish and hydrate your scalp and hair beneath your weave.
Other impressive sections included eyelash enhancement products, sleep essentials, cool t-shirts, and hair analysis tests to measure damage, resilience, and thickness! I wanted to try everything out! The Hair Care 101 articles and reward points were also great incentives.
As easy as it was to get lost in all the goodies advertised on the website, I maintained a clear head and remembered the disappointments I’d faced with most hair growth products. In the end, I decided on the discounted 2-month hair vitamins and the fatty acid booster that focused on dry, brittle, and thirsty hair.
I was pleased by the results after the two months. My hair felt hydrated; there were less breakage and damage. However, I stopped using the products when I noticed the disclaimer where there was no evaluation from the Food and Drug Administration, which was vital for me.
- Great website
- Countless product selection
- Unique hair analysis tests
- Live chat and online consultation
- A little costly
- No FDA approval
Who Can Use Hair Growth Products?
Hair thinning and hair loss are the main factors influencing the rise of the billion-dollar industry that involves hair care and hair growth. Ideally, people experiencing bald spots and thinning aren’t the only contributors. Hair breakage, splitting, and overall damage can prompt you to hit the road in the search for a quick and long-term fix as well.
While nothing much can help the already damaged hair, hair growth products target the root of the problem; which is, quite literally, your hair root. By providing an environment that promotes better, healthier growth (like the necessary nutrients and moisture), your hair has a chance to achieve its full potential.
Since your hair is made up of keratin – a protein in nails, claws, and hooves – your body doesn’t consider it as important as other major organs. Therefore, your hair and nails are among the last parts to receive nutrients. A good diet and vitamin supplements ensure that your body gets enough nutrients to go all around, leaving enough for your hair.
So, in essence, hair growth products are great for everyone – men and women alike. If you have healthy and beautiful hair, you want to keep it that way. Many women like growing it out their hair even longer and hair growth oils and pills encourage more length and volume.
However, before making any purchases, it is always wise to seek medical advice. Apart from allergy risks and unpleasant interactions with any medication you may be on, some underlying conditions may require you to avoid hair growth vitamins – like diabetes, hypertension, and general cardiovascular disorders. Be safe and talk to your doctor first.
Hair oils, Supplements, and Pills
The hair care industry, like most, always finds a way to fill a need. Hair growth products aren’t only in oils and vitamins. Other specialized products that support your hair growth include:
Unlike the ordinary shampoos, these special versions are free of sulfates and parabens that are responsible for drying out and damaging your hair. You can look forward to your next cleanse safely in the knowledge that you don’t have to deal with the harmful chemicals.
Some special shampoos contain natural ingredients that benefit your hair and scalp. Others, like the Art Naturals Argan Oil Hair Loss Shampoo, contain DHT blockers that prevent hair loss and damage.
Regular and hair growth conditioners both aim to nourish and add sheen to your hair. The difference with the hair growth conditioners is; they have a few extra ingredients such as minoxidil, keratin, biotin, and amino acids that give your hair that extra boost.
Growing up with kinky hair and a natural-hair mom, these were my go-to methods before getting caught up in life’s hassles and messing my hair up! Depending on your hair type, hot oil treatments and blended organic hair masks are a great way of providing nutrients for your hair. Bananas, eggs, and avocado are a few examples of natural ingredients you can use.
Even better, you can improve your diet and opt for more foods rich in vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids. No doubt you will notice improvements in your hair and skin.
The Shedavi website features their two major products: Shedavi hair growth pills vs. oils – both of which have natural ingredients that make them safe to use.
Hair and Scalp Growth Elixir
The Elixir is lightweight oil that contains numerous natural oils that have been used by different communities from way back. My hair routine is mostly right before bed. I part my hair in different sections, apply the Elixir throughout my scalp then massage gently for circulation and to work it all over my hair as well.
- Healthy Scalp
- Reduced breakage and split ends
- Improved volume
- Slower length change
Hair Growth Vitamin
The vitamins hold a variety of herbs full of minerals, vitamins, and fatty acids that nourish your hair, skin, and nails from the inside. Taking only two capsules a day gives your body the nutrients it needs to provide a healthy environment for your hair and scalp.
- Impressive volume
- Strong nails
- Glowing skin
- Less breakage and hair loss
- Better hair texture and sheen
- Some health conditions require medical advice
Overall, different products have different results for everyone. I appreciate the fact that, whether it is Shedavi hair pills vs. oils, or using both the products at once; the brand took a traditional and natural approach. In the end, this goes a long way in setting Shedavi apart from other major companies in the hair care industry.
